- Curate an event series that reconfirms relevance among influential design press and peers.
- Communicate Walter Knoll's design heritage as well as future intent.
- Connect with emerging cultural and creative talent.
Response:
Walter Knoll's standing within the design industry has never been in any doubt, but, eager to expand its audiences and re-establish its historic and future significance within the sector, the company was reconsidering its events strategy.
We proposed a strategic refocus that relied on the brand's cultural capital rather than canapes, curating a three-part exhibition series that would draw enthusiastic audiences – established and emerging – into the showroom, and into the heart of the brand. The programme positions Walter Knoll as a cultural patron, offering engaging events that explore the brand's innate expertise in industrial design, architectural practice and fine art. As well as producing the events in their entirety, we provided a coherent identity for the programme and a suite of materials to enhance press coverage.
