An exhibition of poster designs and original pieces of 1960s Braun Design, curated, designed and produced by Systems. The exhibition held at the Walter Knoll showroom in Beijing consisted of A0 posters submitted by South-East Asian graphic design studios, each responding to Braun Design. This summary of the contemporary Eastern reception of Braun Design was juxtaposed with an arrangement of original Braun objects and printed materials of the 1960s. Systems provided the exhibition design encompassing the arrangement of objects, a printed visitor’s guide and window design. The latter was derived from a map of the region. This image was pushed to point of illegibility through the omission of countries from which designs were not received, producing a tension consistent with the historical theme of the exhibition.
