The client, curator Francesca Verga, requested a design for a project conceived as an expanding series of autonomous websites, each being a self-contained virtual exhibition / project space devised by an invited curator or artist. The brief was to design the portal that would open onto these projects. Our design responded through the idea of a place-holder, signified by the crossing of a blank page. The typographic approach, making use of mono space type, extends this concept through an implied grid of cells awaiting content.
